This
little town is found to the south of Rincon de Guayabitos, historically
this is a place of legend where it is said that the area took the name
of a group of " bandidos" that ravished the area the time of the Land
Barons or Haciendas, to the north of this area, exist some small caves
hidden by the dense jungle, in these caves it is said that the bandidos
hid the treasure they stole from these Land Barons and through these
bandidos the area gained the reputation of being cursed by ghosts, to
prevent people from entering the area called los Ayala.
In actuality though it is one of the 3 towns in the area of
Guayabitos and an alternative destination for your vacation.
The Beach
The sand is course, soft and a beautiful golden shade that
stretches approximately 1 km, with tranquil waters with a
depth reaching a little bit deeper than guayabitos. Also
there exists some rocky areas on the two extreme sides of
the beach wear the swimming is a bit riskier but create
perfect areas for snorkeling,
Infrastructure
This area, used to be characterized for hosting purely small
beach front restaurantes or "palapas" and vacation houses
owned by both mexican nationals and and International
tourists, but in the last 4 years Los Ayala has developed an
extensive variety of businesses and accomodations and is
presently in a state of urbanization.
This are has a good telephone system based in public phones
that accept phone cards, and it also has reception for
cellular phones although due to mountains that surround it
there exists "dead zones" It is important to mention this
since the majority of bungalows and hotels in the area do
not offer telephone service in the rooms. |
